34th Annual Milan Indians Boys Basketball Golf Scramble

Beautiful weather was the call of the day, on Sunday, September 10, as the Milan Hoosier Links Golf Course provided the venue for the 34th Annual Milan Indians Boys Basketball Golf Scramble outing. The amassing of 25 teams departed the 8 a.m. shotgun start meeting led by Head Basketball Coach Josh Blankinship. It was a day of fun competition, companionship, reuniting of old friends, and support of their hometown high school boys basketball team. The top three teams of the event are pictured, as are a couple of the honored ’54 State Champion Basketball Team players back for the 2017 outing, Ray Craft and Glenn Butte. Presentation of many door prizes and posting of scores was highlighted by the lunch consisting of a grilled T-Bone steak and more. Among the honored competitors amid the 34th Annual Milan Indians Basketball Golf Scramble were 1954 State Champion teammates,Ray Craft and Glenn Butte.
