Melanie Kay Miller
Melanie Kay Miller passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at her home in Osgood. She was born on January 21, 1964, to the late Shirley and Marcella Adkins in Batesville, Indiana.
Melanie has three children that survive: her daughter, Jessica L. (Jeremy) Owens of Osgood, and two sons – Joshua Cullen of Bloomington, Indiana, and Jared Cullen of Greensburg, Indiana. Four grandchildren also survive: Deacon Pate, Landon Owens, Logan Powell, and Evelyn Cullen. One brother preceded her in death, Stephen Adkins.
She had lived most of her life in the Osgood area graduating from Jac-Cen-Del in 1982. The most important thing in her life was her family! They jokingly stated that she really did not like cooking but really did enjoy cooking for them, especially her shepherd pie! She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.

Margaret K. Wagner
Margaret K. Wagner, formerly of Manchester, was born on January 10, 1923 in Dearborn County, the daughter of August “Gus” and Martha Dohleman Konradi. She graduated from Guilford High School and went on to work for and retire from Schneley Distillers in Greendale. Margaret married Gilbert Wagner on April 9, 1988. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church; loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed square-dancing, baking, cooking and gardening. On Monday, May 15, 2017, at the age of 94, Margaret passed away at Ripley Crossing in Milan.
Those surviving who will cherish Margaret’s memory include sisters, Dorothy Scott of Milan, and Wilma Pease of Aurora, and numerous nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Herman (Ruby) Konradi, William (Juanita) Konradi, both of Sunman, Robert (Geraldine) Konradi of Patriot; brothers-in-law, Robert “Scotty” (Dorothy) Scott, Jr. of Milan, and Norman (Wilma) Pease of Aurora.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Pastor Susan Socha will officiate the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
