Hard-working, lone-senior Josh Bixler will be missed in next year’s program as the Milan Indians boys tennis season draws near its finale. Coach Zach Wade and his Tribe paid tribute honoring senior Bixler at a home-hosted match against East Central on September 23. The match resulted in an 0-5 loss to EC. Previous recent matches found Milan falling to Franklin County 0-5 at FCHS on Sept. 16; however, Coach noted, “The one lone bright spot was #1 JV doubles winning 8-3 (Clayde Ascherman and Dalton Messer).”

Milan JV won 2-0 with Dalton Messer at singles along with the doubles duo of Isaac Rosenbarger and Hunter Holten. Milan High School Boys Varsity Tennis fell to Southwestern Hanover Rebels 1-4 on Thursday, Sept. 3 at SwHHS.
