JCD Lady Eagles varsity volleyball action hitting a few high notes

The Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles volleyball team of 2015 finds Head Coach Traci Siebert returning in the lead with an enthusiastic group of Lady Eagle players anxious for competition. Opening to a rough start in their first three encounters with match losses to the Edinburgh Lady Lancers, Hauser Lady Jets and the neighboring rival South Ripley Lady Raiders, JCD sparked recently for a victorious three match win run. The 2015 JCD Lady Eagles varsity volleyball season activity against Southwestern Shelby, Madison Shawe and Waldron during the week of August 24-29 results were as follows.

On the road action at Sw Shelby High School on Monday, August 23, the JCD varsity Lady Eagles went the distance for the 3-2 game match victory. Lady Eagles match victory, game action scoring against Southwestern Shelby included SWS 25-14 over JCD, JCD 25-14 over SWS, JCD 25-17 over SWS, SWS 25-17 over JCD and JCD the victor of the rubber tie breaker by a final count of 15-6. On the road action at on Tuesday, August 25, at Madison Shawe against the Lady Hilltoppers proved to be positive at Match end. But, again, not without a fight. Lady Eagles match victory, game action scoring against the Shawe Lady Hilltoppers included Shawe 25-23 over JCD, JCD 25-14 over Shawe, JCD 25-14 over Shawe, Shawe 25-15 over JCD and JCD the victor of the rubber tie breaker by a final count of 15-12. Jac-Cen-Del home hosted action at JCDHS on Thursday, August 27, against the visiting Waldron Lady Mohawks also proved to be positive though trying, as it took the Lady Eagles five games to secure the match victory. Lady Eagles match victory, game action scoring against the Waldron Lady Mohawks included JCD 25-21 over Waldron, Waldron 25-23 over JCD, Waldron 25-22 over JCD, JCD 25-20 over Waldron and JCD the victor of the rubber tie breaker by a final count of 15-7. At this juncture in the new season, the Lady Eagles are 3 and 3.
