Jac-Cen-Del Eagles earn 69-59 overtime win over Switz. Co. Pacers

Friday night, February 16, basketball action in the Eagles Nest, found great satisfaction for the Eagle boys' senior night celebration, with their overtime varsity win over the Switzerland County Pacers.
The Eagles had played to a 10 point edge through the regulation playing time of the game only to find themselves short at 55-57 as the final seconds ticked from the scoreboard clock.
With just enough time to make it happen, a FG score by the Eagles knotted the contest at 57-57, requiring an overtime period to declare a winner.
And win they did as they steathily went to work, from the center court tip controlled by sophomore Brandon Baber, leading to an opening FG basket by 6'9" senior Conner Hubbard.
Over the four minutes of overtime, Hubbard's basket found the Eagles strategically going to work as a team to surmount a sizeable advantage resulting in their scoring of 12 points while only allowing the visiting Pacers two, earning the 69-59 victory.
