JCD Lady Eagles JV and Varsity triumph over Edinburgh hosted Tournament

The 2017-18 Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles Varsity and JV Basketball Teams both battled to earn undefeated Christmas Break Championship Titles as they participated in the Edinburgh High School hosted one day Holiday Classic Tournament on December 29th, behind Varsity Head Coach Scott Smith and JV Coach Abby Leonetti. Opening Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagle JV action was against the New Washington Lady Mustangs where JCD won 40-9.

The Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles Varsity action in the Edinburgh hosted Championship battle of December 29th found them battling against the hosting Edinburgh Lady Lancers, where JCD won 53-31.

The 7th and 8th grade boys involvement at the Madison Shawe Holiday Basketball Invite resulted in the Eagles 7th grade losing both games, while the Eagles 8th grade team claimed victory with the championship title under their belts at tournament's end.
JCD defeated Scottsburg in overtime to advance to the Championship contest. Scoring for JCD was: Wyatt Day 20, Simon 9, Justin Swinney 8, Wilson 6, Hoffman 3 and Volz 3.
JCD defeated the Switzerland County Pacers by 18 in the Championship battle, 49-31.
