JCDMS Co-ed XC Team opens season as 3-Way Meet host

The Jac-Cen-Del junior high cross country teams hosted a three-way meet with Sunman Dearborn and Milan on Thursday night Aug. 17. The JCD girls’ team total found them finishing second. However, Lady Eagle Cloey Simon (JCD) claimed the individual overall first place winner of the girls’ race with her time of 13:06, with a 36 second edge on the second place runner Ashtyn Gindling of Sunman/Dearborn at 13:42. The JCD boys’ team was incomplete for a team tally with but two runners. However, Eagle Kameron Darnold captured the individual overall first place as winner of the boys' race with his time of 12:11, with a 16 second edge over second place finisher Parker Fleming of Sunman/Dearborn at12:27.
