Bradley Warren Hansmann
Bradley Warren Hansmann, 64, of Virginia, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born in Ohio on December 11, 1952, the son of Paul and Freeda Hankins Hansmann.
Brad attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. From there, he was recruited by the US Army where he served 14 years and retired as a Master Sergeant from the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, Ft. Myer, VA. During his service in the army, he was selected to participate on the committee for the 50th American Presidential Inauguration for Ronald Wilson Reagan. After his service, he was employed by Allstate Insurance Company as a Comptroller Supervisor, from which he retired.
Survivors include his mother, Freeda Hansmann of Versailles; brother Paul, Jr., and Laura Hansmann of Minnesota; nephew Lance and Tiffany Hansmann and niece Heather and Joel Terry, all of Minnesota; along with three great nieces, Piper, Paige and Melissa.
In recognition for his military service, Brad will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.

Charlotte J. Mortenson, of Hebron, KY, formerly of Dillsboro, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017. Funeral services will be at a later date. Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home, Dillsboro is entrusted with arrangements.
