2017 All-ORVC spring sports athletes, coaches honored

Milan High School was the host of the Ohio River Valley Conference Sports Awards program held at The Pines Restaurant in Madison on Wednesday evening, May 31. The seven member ORVC conference schools include Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, Madison Shawe, Rising Sun, South Ripley, Southwestern Hanover, and Switzerland County, who rotate the hosting duties. Madison Shawe is next in line as host for the 2017-18 school year ORVC Fall Sports Awards Banquet.
Following a welcome to the banquet by MHS AD Prifogle, MSM’s Athletic Director led in a prayer before the buffet style meal, with Prifogle again calling the Awards presentation portion of the event after the meal. Close to 160 people were in attendance. In opening the awards program, the All-ORVC Boys Track & Field athletes were called forward to get their medals and certificates.
