The Eagles varsity lost the services of 6'9" junior center Conner Hubbard (44) due to what appeared to be a season ending injury, requiring a cast following the basketball game against hosting Union County. An already battle-tattered and struggling senior-less Eagles Varsity Team found even more devastation forced on them with the absence of the big guy in the middle.

As of the scheduled Eagles battle against Switzerland County Pacers on Friday evening, Feb. 17, Hubbard will return to the JCD lineup. The Eagles suffered another varsity loss during his absence, as they trekked to Rising Sun to face the Shiners on Tuesday evening, February 14; however, the JCD JV under Coach Brad Goldsberry enjoyed the feel of victory as they held on to defeat the hosting Shiners.
