South Ripley Raiders double down over hosting Madison Shawe Hilltoppers
. . . but needed to pack more lunch against Brownstown Central Braves

The South Ripley Raider JV and Varsity Boys Basketball teams made the trek to Shawe Memorial High School, Madison to battle the first opponents of a double header weekend against the hosting Hilltoppers on Friday evening, December 8. Both Raider teams secured nearly 2-1 victories with the Varsity game concluding at 70-31 over Shawe and the JV Raiders 64-35 Hilltoppers. All Raiders from both Varsity and JV lineups saw floor time in the game, however an injury during the varsity game sidelined freshman Raider starter of the night, Bryce Franklin, resulting in limited playing time for him.

SR Raiders & Brownstown Braves The Saturday, December 9, edition of the SRHS double header weekend action for the hosting Raiders proved to find the shoe on the other foot as the visiting Brownstown Central Braves unwound the SR clock with the Raider JV falling 18-67 in the opening segment and SR’s Varsity defeated 42-72.
