Coach Bob Bressert proudly announces progress with his Milan Lady Indians basketball program since he took on the challenge, now in his third season as the Lady Indian head coach. Many obstacles were certainly against his turning the program back into a positive venture. With true desire they stuck it out and made improvements along the way, as they learned to trust and rely on one another. No, they haven’t won the state championship or the ORVC conference title, but from ground zero, they have definitely come a long way. Milan Lady Indians earned their ninth regular season victory with the Tuesday, January 24, battle against the Oldenburg Academy Lady Twisters by a final count of 49-46 and their 10th win against the Waldron Lady Mohawks 37-26.
