Katherine Mary Wells
Katherine Mary Wells, 86 of Indianapolis and formerly of Milan passed away Tuesday May 17, in McCordsville, Indiana. She was born Tuesday June 6, 1929, the daughter of Nicholas and Alma (Billman) Shorten. She married Lowell Wells who preceded her in death April 26. 2005.
Katherine is survived by daughters Linda (Donald) Treat and Colleen Morgan, son Rick (Rita) Wells, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Janet Wells and great granddaughter Paige Marie Thompson.
Visitation service will be Saturday May 21, from 12 – 1 p.m. at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan. Graveside services will follow at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery at Milan with Father Frank Eckstein officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the funeral home, PO Box 243, 707 S. Main St., Milan, In. 47031, (812)654-2141.
