Lady Indians outpace Lady Pacers, Seton Catholic
Team falls to Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers

Nine games into the new girl’s basketball season, the Milan Lady Indians varsity led by Coach Bob Bressert find themselves at 4 and 5. The Lady Indians season opening back-to-back victories were earned over the South Decatur Lady Cougars 52-35 and over South Dearborn Lady Knights 41-36.
Loses that followed since were to the Hauser Lady Jets 46-54, the Union County Lady Patriots 45-50, Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles 35-84, and to New Washington Lady Mustangs 52-63. Of late, the Lady Indians reacted favorably with back-to-back victories. The first was a hard fought 49-38 win over the Switzerland County Lady Pacers followed by a victory over Seton Catholic by a final count of 59-28.
