Elliott Sadler nails inaugural XFINITY Chase opener
The Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky, was the site for the debut of the Chase in the XFINITY series race, and the drivers delivered excitement as anticipated. Tough is as tough does, and this night “tough” is what Elliott Sadler proved to be earning the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 victory and the inaugural XFINITY Chase
Sadler praised his crew for making his ride better and better as the night wore on. Daniel Suarez finished second, crossing the finish line 0.246 seconds behind Sadler in his No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota ride. The third place finish belonged to Blaney in the No. 22 Penske Ford. Results found Sam Hornish, Jr. at fourth with Matt Tifft rounding out the top five.
