Kasey Jodean McAdams
Let us pause to honor the passing of a little angel, Kasey Jodean McAdams, age 5 of Milan, who passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. Kasey, who was born on August 24, 2010, was the daughter of Roger and AnnMarie McAdams.
Kasey is survived by her parents, as well as sisters Megan McAdams of Versailles and Kiersten McAdams of Osgood; brothers Anthony McAdams of Versailles and Shane McAdams of Osgood; and nephew Hayden McNeelan. Also surviving are grandparents Roger Sr. and Debbie McAdams of Milan; Ima Jo Moore of Versailles; Johnny Moore of Greensburg; and great grandmother Bonnie Walker of North Vernon. Kasey is also survived by one of her best friends, her kitten “Olaf.”
Kasey was known for her smile and “to the point” attitude. She would let you know exactly where you stood and how she felt about it. She loved her Bengals and was quick to quote “Who-Dey.” She enjoyed collecting Shopkins and spending her time with family. She was known to her Grandma Ima as her little “Sugarbritches.” Kasey will be sadly missed by an entire community that has followed her throughout her journey.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 18 from 3-6 p.m. at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. A memorial service celebrating the life of Kasey will be held at 6 p.m. also at the funeral home. Because Kasey’s favorite color was purple, the family requests you to wear your favorite purple-colored clothes to honor Kasey. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials out to the family. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Neal’s Funeral Home, Osgood, is entrusted with arrangements
