Shirley McAdams
Shirley McAdams, 79, of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015. She was born August 7, 1936 in Rising Sun, the daughter of the late Fleetwood Taylor and Goldie Mack.
She is survived by her four sons, Jimmie Dean (Rhoda) Abbott, Michael Dale (Debbie) Abbott, Terry Lenn (Margaret) Abbott, Danny Lee (Debbie) Abbott; daughter, Sharon Ann (Ronnie) Childress; two sisters, Joyce (Don) Everhart, Patty (friend John) Ferriera; 30 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fleetwood Taylor, and Goldie Mack; husbands, Marion Abbott, and Richard McAdams; two sons, Marion Abbott, William Abbott; and five brothers.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following. Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale. Contributions may be made to the family. Visit the funeral home website at
