Baurley signs with Indiana University Southeast

Evan Baurley, South Ripley graduate, has recently signed his Letter of Intent to play baseball at IU Southeast in New Albany. Some of the Baurley’s stats provided from his one year South Ripley baseball season include a 3.4 GPA, .361 batting average, and .465 on base % with 19 stolen bases to his credit. Baurley was named as a member of the Ohio River Valley Conference All Conference Team and collected the team Senior Academic Award. His high school sports activity included three years of varsity baseball (one at South Ripley), three years varsity football of which South Ripley does not offer. Evan transferred from Franklin Central. Evan is the son of Nathan Baurley and Brooke Burkman.
