Delbert T. Lothridge, 49, of Milan, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. He was born at Carrollton, Kentucky on May 31, 1966, the son of Larry and Nancy Martin Lothridge.
Survivors include his father Larry Lothridge of Osgood; one son Trenton Lothridge and his companion Kimberly Williams of Madison; one daughter Ashley (Ray) Burgess also of Madison; grandchildren Braxton Burgess and Aunalee Williams; one brother Christopher Lothridge of Versailles; one sister Charity (Andrew) Jones of Ozark, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, one sister, and one brother.
Mr. Lothridge was widely known in the Osgood, Milan and Versailles communities and enjoyed attending many of the area churches. He was a truck driver and had driven for Swinney Farms, Skelgas in Osgood, Redelman Enterprises, Baylor Trucking and Larry Bredewater. Delbert waged a hard fight and courageous battle against Huntington’s Disease for the last 18 years.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, at 12 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Harris Long of the First Baptist Church in Milan officiating. Burial will be in the Green Cemetery near Versailles. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.

Dewey Faye Taylor Rodgers, 73, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6 at 2 p.m. at the Riverview Baptist Church, 1341 Spring Branch Road near Vevay, with burial in the Brooksburg Cemetery in Brooksburg. Visitation will also be Saturday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be given to the Riverview Baptist Church or the Brooksburg Baptist Church, contribution cards are available at the funeral home.
