Cleo Harold Blake, 88, of Indianapolis, was born April 3, 1927 in Williams. He was the son of the late Reno & Eva Blake. He married Gloria Ruth Moody and she preceded him in death November 30, 2005. Cleo quietly past away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Arbor Grove in Greensburg.
Cleo was a WWII Navy Veteran. He had worked for Ransburg of Indianapolis. He and his late wife Ruth had attended the Osgood Christian Church and then later the New Testament Christian Church of Osgood.
Survivors include son: Russell Dwayne Blake of Nashville, TN; half brother: Ronnie Blake of Bloomington; sister: Anna Dee Craig; four half sisters: Joan, Inamae, Linda and Juanita; and grandchild: Jeremiah Blake of Nashville, TN. One half brother preceded him in death: John D. Blake.
Funeral services will be held all in one day, Wed., April 15 at New Testament Christian Church of Osgood with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral services immediately following. Memorials may be given to the Osgood Area Kiwanis. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles. Military services by Osgood American Legion and Napoleon VFW. Christina R. Asche
Christina R. Asche, 77, of Delaware, passed away at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her home. She was born at Delaware on June 28, 1937, the daughter of William and Lillie Mae Baker Rose. She was married to Floyd Asche on September 12, 1937 and he survives.
Other survivors include one son Floyd Jr. “Gayle” (Jennifer) Asche of Madison; two daughters Carol Ann (Mark) Owens of Osgood, and Barbara (Dana) Hotko of Delaware; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Lou Stevenson, and her brother William Rose, Jr.
Mrs. Asche was a 1955 graduate of Napoleon High School and also graduated from the Cincinnati Beautician College. She was a former employee of US Shoe in Osgood and also Res-Care. Christina enjoyed the outdoors, working in her flowers, and being with her grandchildren. She attended the Delaware United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the Cliff Hill Cemetery at Versailles. Memorials may be given to the Cliff Hill Cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.

Bonnie L. Palmer
Bonnie L. Palmer, 66, of Holton, passed away at 3:30 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born near Osgood on August 13, 1948 the daughter of Claude and Edith Rayner Palmer.
Survivors include three brothers: Claude Palmer, Jr. of Osgood, Omer (Virginia) Palmer of Versailles, and Ronald Palmer of Holton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Phyllis Mulford and Waunetta Zaenglein, and her brother William Palmer.
Ms. Palmer was a former employee of Hull’s Grocery in Holton and she also did child care. Her favorite pastime was playing bingo. Bonnie was a member of the Dabney Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 11 at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Michael Bell of the Dabney Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Tanglewood Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Dabney Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
