Dolores L. Ludeker
Dolores L. Ludeker, 92, of Milan, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Dearborn County Hospital at Lawrenceburg. Dolores was born Friday, October 6, 1922, in Aurora, the daughter of William and Alma (Holzbacher) Lattire. She married Harold C. Ludeker April 25, 1942 and he preceded her in death February 15, 1998.
Dolores was a cook at the Milan High School for many years and also had worked at the deli at Super Val and later the Jay C store. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Stumpke’s Corner, the Milan Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary, the Help Your Neighbor Club, the Ladies Aid and helped any way she could at Ripley Crossing. She loved talking with people and being there to help them when needed. She loved crocheting, but her church and her family were the most special things to her.
Dolores is survived by sons Marvin (Patty) Ludeker and Kendall (Wanda) Ludeker both of Milan, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Lova Jo Ludeker, husband, parents, and sisters Carolyn McClain and Marietta Ohlmansiek.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7124 N. St. Road 101, Milan 47031 with Pastor Susan Socha officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation also Wednesday 9-11 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Larry W. Webster
Larry W. Webster, 65, of Versailles, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. He was born at Madison on September 22, 1949, the son of Raymond and Emma Cathleen Hambrick Webster. He was married to Barbara “Jane” Kelly on January 24, 1969 and she survives.
Other survivors include one son Larry “Budd” (Brandy) Webster II of Dillsboro; three daughters Tamara (Jim) Cline of Deputy, Laura (Greg) Meyer of Osgood, and Jamie (Eric) Whitham of Rexville; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother Barry Webster of Vevay. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Raymond, Gregory, and Ricky Webster, and his sisters Sandra Upton and Patricia Jenkins.
Mr. Webster was employed for 43 years with Batesville Casket Company where he worked as a group leader. Larry was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 28 at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Jeff Limerick officiating. Burial was in the Mud Pike Cemetery near Osgood. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
Charlie Roberts
Charlie Roberts, 82, of Dillsboro, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro. William “Bill” Harold Rees, 88, of Franklin and formerly of Butlerville passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Orville W. Stahle
Orville W. Stahle, 71, of Sunman, passed away at University of Cincinnati Medical Center at Cincinnati, OH. Orville was born Monday June 21, 1943 in Ripley County, the son of Walter and Josephine (Wilson) Stahle. He married Beverly (Pierce) Stahle and she survives.
He was a member of the Bridge of Hope Worship Center. Orville was a farmer, loved his animals, and being around his family and friends.
Orville is survived by his wife, Beverly of Sunman; sons: Orville (Becky) Stahle of Milan, Doug (Angie) Swigart of Milan; daughters: Kelly (Brian) Schmidt of Milan, Dawn Schmidt of Batesville, Tracie (Tim) Roark of Milan; sister: Esther (William) Stoll of Lawrenceburg; 15 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Orville was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, March 31, at Bridge of Hope Worship Center, 4050 East County Road 50 South Milan, IN 47031, with Pastor Doug Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Craven Cemetery south of Milan. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service also at the church. Memorials may be made to the El Salvador orphanage project.
