Kathy “Kat” Ann Henry McKeever
Kathy “Kat” Ann Henry McKeever, 59, of Dillsboro, passed away Saturday morning, February 14, 2015 at Dearborn County Hospital following a long illness. Kat was born December 6, 1955 in Milan, to Robert Henry and Marcella McKinley Henry. She was married to Joe McKeever on July 24, 1996.
She was employed for many years at Dillsboro Manor in the laundry. Kat enjoyed music and loved to go to the casino and gamble. She enjoyed being around her family and doing activities together.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe McKeever on April 4, 2008; her son, Robert Joseph McKeever, in 1995; her father, Robert Henry; and by her brother, Lance CPL Donald Ray Henry, who was killed in Vietnam in Sept of 1967. She is survived by her mother, Marcella Henry, of Dillsboro; two daughters, Heather (Mark) Cutter, of Dillsboro; Josie K. McKeever, of Dillsboro; one brother, Gary (Jennifer) Henry, of Greendale; one sister, Lynne Lyon, of Dillsboro; two grandchildren, Johnathon Cutter, and Dalton Cutter. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may meet her family at DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro on Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m., with Rev. Charles McKinley officiating. She will be laid to rest at Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro. Memorials in her memory may be given to “Make a Wish Foundation” or to the family for expenses. DeVries Funeral Home, Dillsboro, is in charge of arrangements.

Jayce Andrew Rylan Struckman, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Visitation for friends and family is Tuesday, February 17, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Dearborn Baptist Church, 9638 IN 48, Aurora. The service will begin at 12 noon.
