Nine area lady softball players received notification of their invitation to participate in the Fourth Annual Indiana Elite All-Star North vs. South Tournament showcase. Known selections from the IHSAA Class 2A Milan Lady Indians include senior Hannah Lohrum, sophomore Kameron Morrissey, junior Teresa Jenkins, and sophomore Morgan Widener.

IHSAA Class 2A South Ripley Lady Raiders include sophomore Ellie Ayers, senior Emily Cumberworth, junior Allie Sexton, sophomore Kayla King, and sophomore Carah Beck. Sophomore attendees are honored at the request of college recruiters and coaches. This is the first year for sophomores to be invited. The Class 1A & 2A slated schedule for action is set for Sat., June 21 at Westfield High School in Westfield, Indiana. Class 3A & 4A competition is slated on Sunday, June 22.
