Allen Wayne McIntosh, 57, of Brookville, passed away Sunday morning, April 27, 2014, at his residence. He was born October 9, 1956, in Greensburg, the son of Joseph and Elberta Farmer McIntosh. He grew up in Osgood, Indiana, and attended Jac-Cen-Del High School.
A U.S. Army veteran, he was an SP4, served at Ft. Knox and was honorably discharged in 1976. On August 30, 1985, he was married to Vickie Newton and they had lived in Franklin County since that time; Mrs. McIntosh survives. For many years, he had been employed as a maintenance coordinator at Owens-Corning in Brookville. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Brookville. He loved golfing, fishing, wine making and bee keeping.
Besides his beloved wife, Vickie, he is survived by his father and stepmother, Joe and Dora Lynne McIntosh of Clermont, Florida; a daughter, Jennifer Bolser and her companion Brian Eads of Batesville, Indiana; a step-daughter, Lisa Little of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Ashley and Blake Bolser, Nathan Eads, Nicholas Metcalf and Christopher, Shaun and Jordan Little; two sisters, Sarah Chemo and her husband Mark of Greenville, Tennessee; and Debra Gregory of Fortville, Indiana; two half sisters, Leslie Moss and her husband Bill of Seattle, Washington; and Lori Sturgeon and her husband Kevin of Osgood; two half-brothers, Michael McIntosh of Seattle and John McIntosh and his wife Eunice of Sanford, Florida; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his step-father, Charles Myers; two sisters-in-law, Sonja Hicks and Novice Stikeleather; and three brothers-in-law, Ralph Bergen, Mark Idzerda and Dick Shera.
Friends are invited to attend Graveside Services 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at West Side Cemetery in Milton, Indiana, with military rites provided by the Brookville VFW. A Celebration of Life Event will be conducted 3 p.m. same day at the Brookville VFW Hall. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home (millermosterrobbins.com) is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org). The family has requested for no flowers to be provided.

Lela Mae Watts, 73, of Moores Hill, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 p.m. at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Family or Margaret Mary Hospice. Ruth Mary McCreary
Ruth Mary (Hill) McCreary, 86, passed away April 28, 2014. She was born in Versailles to Rose and Bill Hill
Throughout her life, she worked as a bookkeeper and seamstress. Her first love was her family and their many gatherings. She loved playing cards and board games, bowling, and fishing. Ruth was involved in church organizations and was a Eucharist Minister.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harold, children, Robert (Sheila) McCreary, Theresa (Tony), Sue (Warren) Aton, Bill McCreary, Tammy (Brent) Sandefur, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one brother, John Hill.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, at St. Paul Hermitage, Beech Grove, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and funeral mass following at 11:00 a.m. Internment will take place at Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles, with graveside service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Hermitage.
