Great Pumpkin 5K High School Invitational Cross Country Meet
JCD senior Jenna Hughes leads Lady Eagles to 1st place

The annual Great Pumpkin 5K High School Invitational Cross Country Meet was run on Thursday evening, September 25 at South Ripley’s Ohio Rod Course, just west of SRHS. With the girls’ event leading off the evening’s racing challenge, Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagle senior Jenna Hughes captured the top spot with her time of 21:52.6, setting up a JCD Lady Eagle team top spot finish as well.

Del Lady Eagle senior Jenna Hughes strides to the top spot in the annual Great Pumpkin XC Meet held at South Ripley HS’s course at Ohio Rod industries, with her time of 21:52.6. She set the still standing JCDHS girls cross-country school record on the course as a junior in the 2013 race. Lady Eagle teammates followed her lead crossing the finish line to capture the top spot as a team in this the 2014 Meet as well.
