Annual Milan Indian Soccer Award Banquet held

On Wednesday evening, Nov. 20, in the Milan High School cafetorium, Coach Kevin Walter welcomed his 2013 soccer team, their families and guests, as they gathered to partake in a catered meal and present earned awards to team members.
In closing comments, Coach Walter thanked all for their positive participation and encouraged them to speak to others who may have an interest in joining next year's team. The team played hard in spite of few numbers, often no subs when injuries began to take their toll.
“Gut it up and play on” has proven to be a fitting motto for this group and their coach.
