South Ripley Raider High School fall sport athletes and guests attended their annual awards program on Wednesday evening, October 30, at the South Ripley High School Cafetorium.
SR Cross Country

A very productive 40-1 ORVC boys’ season (73-21 overall record) for the South Ripley Boys Cross Country Team behind Coach Jim Cole. The Raider boys’ team included seniors Austin Allen, JC Boyken and Mike Harris along with underclassmen Michael Bradley, Austin Bradley, Andrew Austin, Brian McCombs, Patrick Cole, Matt Zigan, Andrew Herbert and student manager Parker Jahnigen.
Austin Allen led the charge with many meet first place finishes, eventually earning a 2013 semi-state invitation. The Raider boys were ORVC champs and second in RC meet. All ORVC include Austin Allen, Michael Bradley, Austin Bradley, JC Boyken, and Isabella Gramaglia, who led the girls individually. The girls had as few as two and never more than four runners all season. Gramaglia advanced from sectional to run in the Greensburg Regional. Other Lady Raiders included Kendra Franklin, Sarah Boyken and Abigail Gomien. JC Boyken - ORVC Mental Attitude, All-Conference: Austin Allen, Austin Bradley, JC Boyken and Bella Gramaglia. Allen, both Bradleys, Boyken and Gramaglia were Regional Qualifiers.
Lady Raider Golf
In 15-22 Lady Raider Golfers behind Coach Greg Huntington finished third in the RCM. Golfers: Mackenzie Black (All-ORVC & All County), Abigail Mathews, Taylor Wrightsman and Kylan Brandt.

It was a very productive 8-7-2 season for South Ripley Lady Raider soccer team behind Coaches John Brison, Lynn Cumberworth & Eric Clippert. Team members included Emily Cumberworth with 27 goals, Kelsey Cumberworth, Haley Fossett, Kyanna Clippert, Emily Forwalt, Casey Lovins, Marcela Foster, Halie Brison, Carah Beck, Ellie Ayers, Desiree Parsons, Allison Reed, Lacey Stephen, Alex Wake, Lindsay Comer, Cara McNeelan, Shelby Myers, Abby Watson, Gabby Copeland, Abi Gomein, Carly Buchanan, Emma Stuehrenberg and Sarah Boyken.
Raider Boys Soccer
Raiders Ryan Lengerich and Matt Boles were named All-ORVC in 2013. Led by Coach David Baugh, the 3 - 11 - 2 Raider team included: Ryan Lengerich, Caleb Huntington, JC Boyken, Caleb Cumberworth, Cory Gordon, Branden Lengerich, Michael Pope, Hunter Mann. Matt Boles, Xavier Laglay, Wyatt Elston, Derek Turner, Brandon Ball, Brock Rolf-Guerra, Patrick Smith, Carson Powers and Julian Carpenter.
SR Volleyball
The 8 - 14 Lady Raider JV team led by Robyn Greiwe and Jessica Hamm included B. Swinney, E. Bodenberg, Danielle Koger, Destini Parsons, Kaitlyn Moore, Kayla Adkinson, Laken Farrell, Clarice Patterson, Hannah Schwarte, Brittney Pickett, Delani Smith, Emma Wilhoit and Kylie Werner.
The 4 - 19 varsity behind Coach Phil King included Sidney Steinhauer, Erin Gloyd, Hayley Schwarte, Bridgette Swinney, Courtney McGuire, Hayley Schmaltz, Allie Sexton, Mercedes Bowling, Kayla King, and Elizabeth Bodenberg.
