Milan Lady Indian Golf team celebrate first meet victory in over two years

Coach Deb Shumate and her Milan Lady Indian golf team found resounding satisfaction in a 4-way meet victory at Hoosier Links on Tuesday, August 20, after a long spell of disappointing attempts.

Competing in the Milan Lady Indian home-hosted meet were the South Ripley Lady Raiders, Southwestern Hanover Lady Rebels, and Switzerland County Lady Pacers.

Switzerland County Lady Pacer Coach Natalie Wheeler found her team short due to sickness, pageant practice and duel sport participation; however, all four members of Coach Greg Huntington’s South Ripley Lady Raider team of two sophomores and two freshmen completed the nine-hole round as did the four member Southwestern Hanover Lady Rebel team.

A teams top four scores are totaled for a team score! Less than four players constitutes an Incomplete for the team score!
