Clifford Dale Budd
Clifford Dale Budd, age 83 of Batesville, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Decatur County Hospital in Greensburg. Born March 30, 1929 in New Castle, he was the son of Harry & Echo (Dohnaka) Budd.
Clifford was the former owner of Budd's Arco and retired from National Lead of Ohio (Fernald). He married Barbara Molloy in Denver, CO on March 30, 1950 and she preceded him in death March 29, 2012.
He was a US Air Force veteran and member of Church on the Rock Assembly of God in Batesville.
Clifford is survived by his children, James Allen Budd of Montgomery Village, MD, Gail Lynn (Thomas) Needham of Centerville, VA, Thomas Pat (Leta) Budd of Greensburg, Janet Lea Budd of Belview, NE, Sharon Michelle (Roy) Palmer of Dry Ridge, KY & John Dennis Budd of Batesville. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Nicholas Paul Budd, Kyle Needham, Aaron R. Budd, Matthew Budd, DJ Budd, Michael Wayne Palmer, Robert Matthew Palmer & Jeffrey Curtis Palmer. Also surviving are great grandchildren Mallory Lane Palmer, Simon Addler Palmer, Chloe Diann Palmer, Ivan Knight Palmer, Grant Avery Palmer, Matthew Morgan Newman & Sarah Elizabeth Newman and siblings John & Maurice Budd, Mildred Davis & Marilyn Porter. In addition to his parents & wife, Barbara Budd, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Jennifer Needham and brothers Harry Budd, William Budd, Roy Budd & his sister Linda Budd. Mona L. Floyd
Mona L. Floyd, age 77, of Milan, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. She was born September 11, 1934 in Lawrenceburg, the daughter of Raymond Clark and Ruth Miller Clark. In 1956 she was married to Bobby Floyd and he passed away on September 12, 1999.
Mona was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved to sing. The last eight months of her life were spent at Ripley Crossing, where she enjoyed the activities and friends that she had. In her earlier years she attended the Church of God.
Surviving is one son, Bobby Floyd Jr. (Denise) of Lawrenceburg; three daughters, Kim Mix (Steve) of Aurora, Nickey Edwards of Greendale and Christy Floyd of Milan; two brothers, Jimmy Clark of Aurora and Ernie Clark of Cleves; three sisters, Paulette Lozier of Moores Hill, Sharon Clark of Lawrenceburg and Patricia Barnes of Aurora; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were two sisters, Peggy Yockum and Terri Thompson.
Funeral services for Mona will be Friday, August 31, at 12 noon at Washington Baptist Church on Hwy. 50 in Elrod with Pastor Charles Miller officiating. Interment will be in Washington Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Association or Washington Baptist Church/Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro.
Amanda Louise Elizabeth Hinz
Amanda Louise Elizabeth Hinz, age 96, of Bear Branch, was received by our Lord into His Heavenly Kingdom on Monday, August 27, 2012 at her home, with her family by her side. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was born May 27, 1916 at Pleasant Grove to William Reaper and Lena Sommer Reaper. Amanda graduated from Dillsboro High School in 1933. On August 17, 1940, Amanda was married to John Hinz, and they lived together on a farm near Bear Branch their entire life.
Amanda is survived by her two children, Linda (Keith) Allhands of Fairview and Larry Hinzs of Bear Branch. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Hanna (Scott) Burke, Mary (John) Smith and Ruth Allhands; and two great grandchildren, Seth Burke and Eli Burke. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hinz on July 25, 1968.
Amanda remained active at St. Peter's Lutheran Church as stewardship leader to the women's group and enjoyed sewing blankets and other items for distribution to various areas of need throughout the world. Amanda also remained in relatively good health most of her life and enjoyed gardening, food preparation, and housekeeping. The funeral service for Amanda will be Thursday, August 30, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Bear Branch with her pastor, Rev. Pamela Thiede officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Cemetery or to the donor's choice. Norma Lorene (Epperson) Taylor
Norma Lorene (Epperson) Taylor, 76, of Milan, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012, at Dearborn County Hospital. She was born in White Oak Junction, KY, on September 1, 1935. She was the wife of the late Benjamin C. Taylor, Sr., for 54 years.
Survivors include children: Vickie (Norman) Boggess, Rickey (Charlene) Taylor, Gary (late Sherry) Taylor, Dave (Donna) Taylor, Benjamin (late Kay) Taylor, Jr., Carla Taylor, Norma (Kevin) Hoskins, Chris (Kathy) Taylor, Shawn (Becky) Taylor and the late Anthony Taylor; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Jean (Arthur) Jennings, Ruth (late Acie) Spurling, Alvin (Janett) Epperson, John Epperson, Janet McDonald, Clara (late John) Anderson, Nelson (Tina) Epperson and the late Faye Jennings and Mildred Peters. She is also survived by numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 31 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 noon at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave. (Westwood). Bonnie L. Tyree
Bonnie L. Tyree, 82, of Indianapolis, formerly of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Rosegate Village in Indianapolis.
Bonnie lived most of her early life in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School in 1948. A dedicated homemaker her entire life, she was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and had been a volunteer at King's Daughters' Hospital and Columbus Regional Hospital for many years. She was also active in her church, East Columbus United Methodist Church, and Housing Partnership. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at East Columbus United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Aigner officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.

Mrs. Tyree was born in Anderson, March 28, 1930, the daughter of Bernard C. Anderson and Dorothy M. Keesling Anderson. She married Charles W. Tyree July 23, 1948 and he survives.
Also surviving are sons, C. Dale Tyree of Atlanta, GA, Brian L. (Patricia) Tyree of Indianapolis, and Toby S. (Pam) Tyree of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Charles B. Tyree, Tiffany N. Peterman, Sean Gresham and Colin Gresham; and great grandchildren, Briley Tyree, Emery Tyree and Easton Peterman. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Regina Tyree.

Emma Grace Bunselmeier, age 2 of Osgood, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born February 25, 2010 at Dearborn County Hospital, in Lawrenceburg, the daughter of Kristen Sue Bunselmeier and Marvin James Hawkins.

Clyde C. Ellison
Clyde C. Ellison, 83, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Clyde was born September 11, 1928 in Casey County, Kentucky, the son of Pat H. and Lela B. (Dorn) Ellison. He married his wife of 64 years, Opal Marie (Phillippe) Ellison on March 13, 1948, and she survives.
Clyde was a former employee of the Milan Furniture Factory, was a farmer and well driller. He attended the Washington Baptist Church at Elrod. He loved working and spending time with his family.
Clyde is survived by wife, Opal; sons, Robert Ellison of Milan, Donald Ellison of Batesville, and Keith Ellison of Milan; daughters, Linda (Robert) Disbro of St. Cloud, Florida, and Judith Ellison of Milan; brother, Ronnie Ellison of Tennessee; sister, Mary Hughes of Osgood; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dean Ellison in 1992 and his parents. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 4 at 11 a.m. at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan, with Rev.
