find stiff competition finishing out 2011 basketball action

The opening round of the Jac-Cen-Del Eagle varsity
Friday/Saturday, December 16 and 17, road trip action concluded
with a 17 point defcit, to the hosting Southwestern Hanover Rebels
by the final score of 60-77.

After a rough start to their double weekend venue before Christmas
break, the Eagles traveled to Rising Sun HS to battle the Shiners.
The Eagle varsity fell in defeat to the host by a final score
of 44-50 RS.

Upon the JCD Eagles return to action from Christmas break, they
will play the opening 6 p.m. varsity game against the hosting
Batesville Bulldogs at Batesville HS, as the two teams open basketball
action for the 88th annual Ripley County Boys Invitational Basketball
Tournament.
Slated at approximately 7:30 p.m., game two of opening night action
features the South Ripley Raiders for battle against the Milan
Indians.
