Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles are 2011 ORVC Girls Golf Tournament Champions

Few words could better describe the weather surrounding the 2011 ORVC Girls Golf Tournament, held at the North Branch Golf Course in New Point, than disgusting and miserable.
Played on Saturday, September 3, with tournament director David Espinda initiating opening tee time at 8:30 a.m. the heat quickly built to penetrate the body like stick pins as relentless sunshine with no breeze baked in. Yet the four ORVC conference member schools with a girls golf team this year, competed through it.
Competing were: Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles, Milan Lady Indians, Southwestern Hanover Lady Rebels and a three member Switzerland County Lady Pacer squad.
