South Ripley Raider Boys Cross Country Team wins Ripley County XC Meet

With temperatures flirting around 100+, the annual Ripley County Cross Country Meet was ran at Batesville High School on Thursday evening, September 1, resulting in a championship title for the South Ripley Raider boys and the Batesvile Lady Bulldog teams.
The boys team results found the South Ripley Raiders - 1st @ 32, Batesville Bulldogs - 2nd @ 35, Milan Indians 3rd @ 75 and Jac-Cen-Del Eagles - 4th @ 91 points.
The girls team results found the hosting Batesville Lady Bulldogs pulling off the victory for 1st with 19, Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles 2nd @ 49 and the Milan Lady Indians 3rd @ 79. The extreme heat took a toll on all, but the South Ripley Lady Raiders had only three runners finish the race, making them ineligible for a team score.
