Cross Plains man recovering from burns


On Friday, April 29 Robert Evans, 44, of Cross Plains, was in a serious accident that left him severely burned.

Evans was unloading asphalt at his job for Liquid Transport, when the accident occurred spewing asphalt over much of his body. This was at a plant in Jennings County.

He was airlifted to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis, where he has had several skin grafts due to the second and third degree burns.

Evans was able to come home Friday, May 6.
