Milan Indian golfers use their
clubs to capture wins
in first two golf matches

Despite the multiple spring rains of early April, the Milan Indian golf team has been able to compete in two of their scheduled early season matches. Not only have they been able to hit the course, they have been the benefactor of wins in both matches.
Coached by Steve Gutzwiller, the tribe sports 10 golfers this spring. They include: Ethan Voss, Zach Schmitt, Braden Voss, John Paul Jackson, Daniel Holman, Nick Prather, Nathan Hand, Jake White, Joey Russell and Steve West.
Indians vs Tigers
Playing at home at the Hoosier Links course at Milan, the tribe first faced competition from the Lawrenceburg Tigers. Milan earned the narrow margin victory by a final team score of 179-186 for the Tigers, while senior Zach Schmitt earned the Medalist honor with his round at 40.

Indians vs Eagles
The second match for the Indians was played on Tuesday, April 12, at the Hoosier Links Golf Course in Milan, where the tribe hosted action against the visiting Jac-Cen-Del Eagles, behind golf coach Chad Pindell.
A very wet, cool 50+ degree temperature with a cool and steady wind made for less than enjoyable conditions. However, man up and play on, they did.
Senior Indian Zach Schmitt earned the Medalist honor with his round at 40.
