The Damm Theatre will be filled with music for a good cause on April 15.

A concert and silent auction benefit will be held for the family of Cole Dufrene thanks to the generosity of the Osgood Area Kiwanis Club. The club gave $250 for costs associated with the concert and challenges others to help with this cause.

Cole, two-years-old, is in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis fighting for his little life. He has gone through a number of surgeries and suffers with severe medical conditions with his heart, lungs, kidney and liver. His parents, Cory and Rachel and brother, Jarod, reside in Osgood.

The benefit is being organized by Bill Leach, who will be performing along with Ashley Witt and Sanctified 7, a group who will be providing musical entertainment for the evening.

Other concert performers will be The Woodsmen Quartet and Born Again bringing contemporary and bluegrass gospel sounds to the theatre.

A silent auction will take place throughout the concert with donations from local businesses. If you would like to give to the auction you can contact Leach at 812-756-8387. A free-will donation will also be collected at the concert.

All proceeds from the concert will go directly to the Dufrene family to help defray costs connected with their son’s illness.
