The Osgood Area Kiwanis and Ripley County Parks and Recreation are once again partnering to bring the Kelly Miller Circus to Osgood for the fourth time!

While the actual event is nearly two months away, those organizing the event ask that you mark your calendars now for Sunday, May 1 when the circus will roll into town.

Those wanting the unique experience of seeing the elephants raise the big top can get in on the action by being at the Ripley County Fairgrounds Park at 7:30 a.m. that day. The tent will actually be raised at 9:00 a.m.

Described as the “traditional old style” circus, two performances will be held at 2 and 5 p.m.

Organizers of the event say this season promises to be more exciting than ever with many new acts and entertainers to amaze and amuse you.

The Osgood Area Kiwanis and Ripley County Park and Recreation will benefit from the circus ticket sales and in turn the community will be the big winner with the two groups' generous giving.

Tickets will go on sale April 11 with locations being announced soon. Save the date, and your money, and support the local effort to make the community a better place.

The Kelly Miller Circus is being sponsored locally by the United Community Bank, Napoleon State Bank, Osgood Grub Co. and Schneiders Scrap Metal.
