Santa Claus is pictured with a resident from Silver Memories as he makes a visit to the facility just south of Versailles on US 421 on Sunday, December 19. Santa did not come by sleigh, but on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle as he has for the past five years. Residents look forward to the local group coming in and bringing presents to them. The local bikers hold a Halloween Dance each year to raise funds for the project. They also donated $300 to the Ripley County Food Pantry this year. The group thanks the sponsors and supporters of the dance that allows them to spread Christmas cheer.
