The
Versailles American Legion Post #173 invites all veterans and
their families, members of the military and their families,
as well as members of the community to join them for all or
any part of their Veterans Day Programs to be held Thursday,

The Post will pay tribute to the men and women who have served
their country in the United States Armed Forces, as well as
those who are currently serving in the military.

attendance. The breakfast will be followed by a Veterans Day

Versailles native, who was killed in Afghanistan in September
of this year.
The Versailles American Legionnaires will then proceed to Cliff
Hill Cemetery in Versailles to conduct a service at the graveside
of Cpl. John C. Bishop, who was a member of the Post. Following
