Trick or treat night in Friendship will be Saturday, October 30 from 5-7 p.m.

Also, the Milan High School Student Council will be collecting cans of non-perishable food for the Milan Food Pantry. All members will be clearly identified by a distinctive badge.

People in the Milan community are asked to mark their calendars for October 31 and give generously.

Children are eagerly planning their costumes for Halloween and most importantly trick or treat night.

The Town of Holton has planned to hold trick or treat on Friday, October 29 from 6-8 p.m. Children in the town of Osgood can haunt the streets on Saturday, October 30 from 5-7 p.m.

Several towns have scheduled trick or treat on Sunday, October 31. This includes: Versailles, from 5-7 p.m. with a costume contest on the square at 7 p.m.; Milan from 5-7 p.m. and Sunman from 6-8 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to drive carefully during trick or treat. To ensure your child’s safety, make sure costumes contain reflective material and masks fit and the child can see clearly. Remember to carry a flashlight to increase visibility.
