Michael S. Fraley
Michael S. Fraley, 57, of Aurora, passed away Sun-day, February 21, 2010 at Lawrenceburg. He was born Tuesday, December 30, 1952 in Middletown, OH, the son of the late Charles Fraley and the late Flora Mae Harrison Fraley. He married Vicki Washnock Fraley and she survives.
Other survivors include: son, Dustin Jarrell of Vin-cennes; daughters, Vanessa Ray of Franklin, Jessica Yarber of Osgood, Rachel Roll of Aurora; brother, Ed Fraley of Milan; sister, Sharon Woods of Versailles; and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Fraley was a mem-ber of the Aurora Eagles. He worked as a supervisor for AEP Power Plant for over 29 years.
Visitation is being held today, Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Rullman Hunger Fu-neral Home in Aurora from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the conven-ience of the family. Pansy Lee Lemarr
Pansy Lee Lemarr, 96, of Osgood, formerly of Holton passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 at Manderley Health Care Center. She was born March 17, 1913 the daughter of John Dillmon and Polly Ann Marlel Lemarr. She married Thurman Lemarr February 13, 1934 and he preceded her in death on October 3, 1985.
Survivors include daughter, Alene Lemarr of Osgood; six grandchildren, Clyde and Barb Lemarr of Brownstown, Judy and Gary Williams of Holton, Pamela and Frank White of Holton, Sherry Laswell of Holton, David and wife Mindy Lemarr of Salem, Robert and wife Rhonda Lemarr of North Carolina; two daughters-in-law, Mary Lemarr of Holton and Helen Lemarr of TN; 15 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; and special friend, Algar Collins of Osgood. She was preceded in death by two sons, Wm. Charles and Clyde Lemarr; one grandson; and fourteen brothers and sisters.
Services will be Friday, February 12 at 1 p.m. at Neal's Funeral Home in Osgood. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery in Osgood. Donald R. Toops
Donald R. Toops, 84, of the Hopewell community passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. He was born near Osgood on February 13, 1925 the son of Clarence and Bessie Grossman Toops. He was married to Mollie Hughes on May 4, 1947 and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter Rita (Oren) Rork of North Vernon; five sons, Larry (Blythe) Toops of Canton, Ohio, Lonnie (Melba) Toops of Edinburgh, Roger (Terri) Toops, Ray (Freda) Toops, and Darin (Samantha) Toops all of Osgood; daughter-in-law Cynthia Toops of Napoleon; 16 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son David Toops, his brother Dallas Toops, and his sister Deloris Summers.
Mr. Toops was a 1943 graduate of Holton High School and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. He was a farmer and had worked at the Ripley County Farm Bureau and Osgood Grain.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13 at 11 a.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. David Shivers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Hopewell building fund in care of the funeral home.

Lilly A. Dixon
Lilly A. Dixon, 101, Milan, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at the Waters of Batesville. She was born September 15, 1908 in Dearborn County, the daughter of Oscar and Nora Ann (Bailey) Burnett. She married Olus Dixon, Sr. and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include son, Olus (June) Dixon, Jr. of Milan; daughters, Carol (Bob) Sullender of Anderson, June (Harold) Jackson of Marion and Mary Ann Harwell of Louisville, KY; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; nieces, Janice Gilpin and Joyce Taylor; nephews, Dale and Jim Lotshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Frances Lotshaw and Irene Peak.
Mrs. Dixon was a longtime member of the Milan Wesleyan Church where she served as Sunday school teacher, pianist, song leader, church secretary, treasurer, and board member over the years. She was a 1929 graduate of Milan High School and played on the ladies basketball team.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. at the Milan Wesleyan Church with Pastor LaMar Brown and Rev. Harris Long officiating. Burial will follow in Cliff Hill Cemetery at Versailles. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Memorials may be given to the Milan Wesleyan Church. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan is in charge of arrangements.
