Grant was born at 3:37 a.m. on January 3, being the first baby born at the Batesville hospital in the new year. Delivered by Thomas Brown, MD, he weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. and is 20.5 inches long. With a due date of January 20, Grant came more than two weeks early to claim the "first baby" title for 2010.
