Garrett's Gymnastics holds summer show and competition Garrett's Gymnastics hosted their Summer Show and Competition the weekend of June 24 and 25. Kids of all abilities came together to show off their gymnastics talent in both demonstrations and routines. The more advanced gymnasts, ranging in ages between 5 and 13 competed Sunday on the floor exercise, balance beam, and the bar. The gymnasts were evaluated by a panel of three judges, who then tallied up the scores to decide the winner. Nearly 70 kids, all members of Garrett's Gymnastics, participated in this event. Winning medals in the White Group for floor exercise were; Gold - Alyssa Halcomb, Silver - Rachel Schwanholt and Brianna Crawley, Bronze - Danielle Baugh. White group balance beam winners were; Gold - Brianna Crawley, Silver - Britney Delap, Bronze - Morgan Cutter. Winning medals in the Blue Group for floor exercise were; Gold - Taylor Cole, Silver - Sierra Pope, Bronze - Lauren Garnett. Blue Group balance beam winners were; Gold - Sierra Pope, Silver - Taylor Cole, Bronze - Morgan Romans. Blue Group bar winners were Gold - Lindsay McFann, Kyana Clippert, and Lauren Garnett, Silver - Sierra Pope and Morgan Romans, Bronze - Alexis Bushhorn Winning medals in the Gold Group for floor exercise were; Gold - Kayla King, Silver - Rachel Parker, Bronze - Heavenlee Wilson. Gold group balance beam winners were Gold - Rachel Parker, Silver - Ashley Buchanan, Bronze Heavenlee Wilson and Haley Schmaltz.
