Dennis Robert Coe
Dennis Robert Coe, 57, of Milan and Palos Verdes Estates, CA, died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He was born August 10, 1947 in Mansfield, OH the son of Robert and Betty Jane (Chaney) Coe, both deceased. He married Phyllis (Thalman) Coe on April 16, 1977 and she survives.
Other survivors include one son, Whitney Coe of Palos Verdes Estates, CA.; one daughter, Hillary Coe of Palos Verdes Estates, CA.; and one brother, David Coe of Torrance, CA.
Mr. Coe was president of the EJL Advertising Company in Los Angeles.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 30 from 10-11 a.m. at the Milan Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Burial will be in the Craven Cemetery, Milan with a flag presentation.

Donna M. Blanken
Donna M. Blanken, 48, of Batesville, died Friday, October 22, 2004 at her residence. She was born July 18, 1956 in Batesville the daughter of John Oesterling, Sr. and Barbara Selkirk Oesterling. She married Doug Blanken on July 9, 1983 at the Holy Family Church in Oldenburg and he survives.
Other survivors include one son, Dakota Blanken of Batesville; father, John Oesterling Sr., of Oldenburg; stepmother, Karen Oesterling of Oldenburg; five sisters, Theresa Hornberger, Cathy Blanken both of Oldenburg, Micki Sitterding of Woodstock, CA, Amy Grimme of Charlotte, NC, Ingrid Oesterling of Greensburg; stepsister, Amy Gunter of Batesville; one brother, Chris Oesterling of Oldenburg; and one stepbrother, Troy Ilderton of Oldenburg. She was preceded in death by her mother; and one brother, John Oesterling.
Mrs. Blanken was a homemaker.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 30 from 10-11 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, Oldenburg. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. John Turnbull officiating.

Allie J. Walke
Allie J. Walke, 84, of Oldenburg, died Friday, October 22, 2004 at the Waters of Batesville. She was born April 29, 1920 in Morris the son of John Walke and Clara Hellmich Walke, both deceased. He married Anna Mohr on May 4, 1940 in Oldenburg and she preceded him in death on November 30, 1981. He later married Lorine Fehrman on July 10, 1982 in North Bend, OH and she preceded him in death on August 12, 2004.
Survivors include one daughter, Victoria Scheele of Oldenburg; one son, Kenneth "Butch" Walke of Napoleon; three stepdaughters, Judy Lambert, Karen Linneman, Shelly Williamson, all of Cleves, OH; one stepson, Samuel Fehrman; one sister, Bertha Wagner of Muncie; two brothers, Ott Walke of Arlington, Ernie Clemens of Greensburg; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two stepsons, Thomas Fehrman, Roger Fehrman; one sister, Blance Walke; and two brothers, Fr. Charles Walke and Timothy Walke.
Mr. Walke was a truck driver for Kyle Trucking in Cincinnati for 20 years and later started A & W Trucking, retiring after 20 years.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 25 at 11 a.m. at the St. John's Church in Enochsburg with Rev. John Nestor officiating. Burial was in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Batesville EMS 10 or Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital.

Iva Johnson
Iva Johnson, 93, of Cross Plains, formerly of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born near Cross Plains on June 16, 1911 the daughter of Tom and Mollie Harrell Elston. She was married to Rufus Johnson and he survives.
Other survivors include two sisters, Ruby McMackin of Bennington, Dorothy McMackin of Moorefield; brother-in-law, Glenn Edwards of Bennington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ollie, Wilkie, Raymond, Clyde, and Freddie Elston.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of the Cross Plains Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cross Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Dean officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 28 from 5-7 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorials may be given to the church in care of the funeral home.

Perry Tice, Jr.
Perry Tice, Jr., 59, of Greensburg, died October 24, 2004 at Norton Hospital, Louisville, KY. He was born March 26, 1945 in Aurora, the son of Perry Tice, Sr. and Ellen Brown Tice.
Survivors include his fiancÈ Audrey Shirley of Jeffersonville; five sons, Robert of Greensburg, Mike of Columbus, Leo and Dennis of Michigan, Ernest of Seymour; four daughters, Trina of Columbus, Patti, Kathy, and Amanda of Michigan; ten grandchildren, David, Jenny, and Lynsey Bottoms, Skylar Hammack, Valerie, Brittany, Chelsea, and Robert Tice, David and Carolann Meece; eight brothers, Charles of Aurora, Teddy of Versailles, Thomas B. Steven, Kenny, Thomas C. both of Michigan, Paul and Winford of Ohio; and three sisters, Frances Scott, Barbara Tice and Lena Bouzus all of Michigan.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, October 28 at 1 p.m. in the Humphrey-Taylor-Detmer Funeral Home, Rising Sun with burial in the Rising Sun Cemetery.

Robert (Bobby) L. Weaver
Robert (Bobby) L. Weaver, 62, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away September 30, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Maureen and his four children, Robert, Michael, Cyndie and Christine; grandchildren, Shad, Devin, Mackenzie, Isaiah and Rosellen; mother, Christine "Bessie" Weaver Lane; brothers, David and his wife Kenna and Raymond of Versailles; sister, Gerri and husband Don of Chander, AZ. Other survivors include Uncle Raymond Sanders, Jr.; cousins, Linda Sanders Shockey, Patty Sanders Renfro, Michael Sanders and Dennis Sanders of Versailles.
He was born in Kentucky and moved to Arizona in 1956 and served in the Navy for four years serving in Vietnam. He retired from Motorola in 1996 after 30 years of service.
Graveside services were held October 5 at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, at 9 a.m.

Margo Stille
Margo Stille, 66, of Aurora, died Sunday, October 17, 2004 in Cincinnati, OH. She was born July 21, 1938 in Versailles the daughter of Elmer Franks and Dorothy Buchanan Franks, both deceased. She married Earl "Bud" Stille and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane Stille of Aurora, Tena Clark of Aurora; one brother, Bruce Franks of Dupont; one sister, Patricia Gillis of Dillsboro; four grandchildren, Tonda Satchwill, Angel Siekman, Casey Gullion, Rickey Kelly and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Kelley and one son, Mark Stille.
Mrs. Stille was a member of Wilmington Methodist Church and was retired from Seagram's Distillery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 23 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. fast time at the Rullman Hunger Denney Funeral Home, Aurora. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Charles Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery, East Enterprise.

Carroll R. Lewis
Carroll R. Lewis, 68, of Deputy, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1936 in Cross Plains the son of Elmer L. Lewis and Wilma S. Pelsor. He married Janie (Dill) Lewis on February 5, 1955 and she survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Joy Kidwell of Madison, June Creech and husband James of Seymour; one son, Carroll A. Lewis and wife Susie of Deputy; three brothers, Gene Lewis, Leland Lewis both of Madison, Paul Lewis of Westport; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Lewis; two infant brothers and one infant sister.
Mr. Lewis owned and operated the Lewis Sanitation Service for 20 years, operated the kitchen at the American Legion Post No. 9 for four years before retiring and was a former employee of the Hitz Greenhouse and Williamson Heater Company. He was a member of the Goodwill Conservation Club, Sons of the American Legion Post No. 9 and a former member of the Kent Volunteer Fire Department.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 14, from 4-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Friday at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home, Madison Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 15 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Vevay Cemetery.

Klumpp Thompson

Carole Ann Klumpp Thompson, 60, of Moores Hill, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Harry J. and Edith Irene (Coffman) Klumpp. She married Richard Eugene Thompson, Jr., on March 29, 1963 and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2000.
Survivors include one son, Richard E. Thompson III of Dillsboro; four daughters, Tracey Lee Ridner of Milan, Dawn Michelle Arthur of Milan, Shannon Carole Fraasman of Milan, Heather Lynn McConnell of Moores Hill; one brother, Harry Klumpp of Taylor Mill, KY; two sisters, Dee Gillman of Taylor Mill, KY, and Janet Davey of Milan; 19 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Thompson was an employee of Argosy Casino.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 14 from 11-1 p.m. fast time at the Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 14 at 1 p.m. fast time at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will be in the New Craven Cemetery.

Sr. Marie Pierre
Buttell, O.S.F.

Sr. Marie Pierre Buttell, 97, of Oldenburg, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at the Sisters of St. Francis Infirmary, Oldenburg. She was born June 11, 1907 in Alsace Lorraine, Germany the daughter of Peter Buttell and Mary Schneider Buttell.
She is survived by one cousin, Gertrude Sprague of Lockport, IL.
Sister Buttell was a retired teacher, retiring to the motherhouse in 1998. She had taught in many schools in Ohio and Indiana. She entered the convent on June 29, 1932 and made her final vows on January 6, 1937.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Sisters of St. Francis Motherhouse Chapel, Oldenburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Motherhouse with Rev. Carl Hawver, O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery, Oldenburg.

Paul L. Alexander
Paul L. Alexander, 82, of Batesville, died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital, Batesville. He was born June 3, 1922 at Napoleon the son of Monford and Louise Oetjen Alexander. He married Nell Johnson on November 21, 1947 at St. John's Lutheran Church and she survives at home.
Other survivors include one son, Robert L. Alexander of Batesville; three daughters, Pamela Hurlebaus of FL, Arlene Alexander of Indianapolis, Deborah Liming of Versailles; one brother, Col. Thomas D. Alexander; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Mr. Alexander was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran. He was a mechanic for Butternut of Versailles, a truck driver for Newpoint Stone, a fire chief of the Napoleon Fire Department, a member of the William A. Gilland American Legion Post of Osgood and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Napoleon.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7 from 5-8 p.m. at Neal's Funeral Home, Osgood and on Friday, October 8 from 10 a.m. until 11 am. at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 8 at St. John's Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Napoleon with graveside services conducted by the Osgood American Legion and the Napoleon VFW.
Memorials may be made to the Napoleon Fire Department or to St. John's Church in care of the funeral home.
